The Ambulance

These pictures where send to me by Roberto Herrera from Uruguay. The car on the photo is his GSA Ambulance. He bought it from the Uruguay Government Administration of Health. The car is a Spain produced car from 1983 and it is one of 50 which where bought by the Uruguay Government in the Eigthies. Of those car only a handfull still exist.

The GSA is powered by the well known 1299cc engine and is obviously based on the GSA Break. Only the body is lengthened and the roof is rised. Look closely and see that the reardoor is a standard GSA Break reardoor. Of course these Ambulances are really seldom. As said they where made in Spain and you can still spot them there, allthough I doubt if there are any still in active service.

Some months after Roberts' purchase he came across another Ambulance, he bought this too, as a spare parts car. From the photo's it is obviously to see that this car is in an worse condition.
